Remixed Maxi

Headed out to meet  the girls at Baltimore's newest Comedy Club/ Poetry Lounge Kleosh. Quite a combination right? Well 20 something entrepreneur/poet Josh Austin and his comedian counterpart Kleon da Comedian have brought something new to Baltimore. Looking for something to do other than standard clubbing experience this is the place. Poetry night every Tuesday, various comedy shows and happy hours throughout the week, drink specials, and Hot Topic Mondays 1818 N Charles St. Owning a club is quite a feat for such young men but with the right amount of ambition anything is possible! Me and the gals attended a comedy night a couple Fridays ago and Kleon along with a couple other visiting comics showed us a good time. 


Wearing my mom's favorite maxi (which is now MY favorite maxi) coupled with a pair of hot pants, I was ready to hit the town. I got the idea from friend and fellow blogger Charlotte. I completed the look with some thrifted white oxfords that remind me of Pop's "tic tac shoes" from the show The Wayans Brothers. lol Im also wearing another of Wet n Wild's lip colors in "Don't Blink Pink" told y'all I was gonna get all the colors ;)

Catalina Wine Mixer 3.5!!! Got to see some old friend's and made some NW ones. The event was held at Aloft Hotel, a swanky little spot at BWI. Good times were had by all. I decided to do a little ode to my inner tomboy. I basically wore some stuff I'd previously bought in the men's section and decided to gussy it up. It turned out just the way i'd imagined.

Weekend Warrior

This past weekend was my BFF's anniversary of her 21st bday. The ladies stepped out looking splendiferous as per usual for dinner at Dirty Martini in DC. I lost the battery to my Nikon so until I find it or get a new one I'll just have to settle for iPhone pics.

Happy Belated Halloween!

Last minute costumes from my friend Charlotte and I. She was Rhianna, I was some kind of 80s/90s throwback Fly Girl or something... Yeah I really don't know, but we had a blast! Partied it up with a male friend who dressed as Venus Williams so you know the night was epic to say the least.

The next evening we went for a second round in thrifted outfits. Check out my southern belle Charlotte in this killer jumpsuit! We spotted that gem earlier in the day at Mars thriftshop on Telegraph Ave, near the University of California Berkeley.

Weekend Roadtrip

This weekend we drove to Charleston, South Carolina for my cousin's wedding. The town and the wedding were both beautiful to say the least. For the 9 hour car ride down, I opted to go with an easy weekend favorite YUP, in my white tee!
