Sorry i have been out of the office for a while now,but i was growing my hair and look at the results...lol.

This outfit makes me feel like I'm about to toss a bale of hay. My DIY cut-offs make a re-appearance (one of many for the summer), and an oversized striped shirt I thrifted about a year ago and wore for the first time on this day. The hat came in handy as well, since I'm not a fan of my wash-n-gos since my hair cut. With my bathing suit underneath, we were on the way to Tiki Barge in Baltimore. A cool spot on the harbor, with a pool and a bar. While I was eating my chicken fingers I got the strange feeling that we were floating away, and then I remembered, oh yeah this is an actual BARGE! lol

I guess I was feeling these boots this week cuz I wore them two days in a row. My lips look a little pasty but trust me they looked a lot better at the start of the night! Im wearing MAC Pink Nouveau lipstick under Cultured

On the way to a happy hour at the 5 mile house supposedly "Mingle Mondays" -___- The only other ppl there to mingle with were by 2 other friends that I came with. Snoozefest. However, their drinks were extra strong and their lemon pepper wings were off the heezy fo sheezy!!

Scarfing it Down

A quick fix for any stale hairdo. You know what u mean by stale, right? A hairdo that has run its course, but for some reason you just can't let it go yet. Just add a scarf and make it all over! All my scarves are thrifted, whih makes it even better.

This past weekend was my birthday and trust me I partied like it was 1999!! Wait...what? Anywho I got my hair friend to flexi rod my hair for me with fantastic results! Next time I want to try Curlformers.

I washed my hair and combed it all to one side and braided it-- not very neatly might I add. I let it dry over night and took the braid out the next day and voila...magic. I will be doing this style again.

Bantu Knot Out Take 2

Tried another Bantu knot out. This time I think I may have added to much castor oil because it took foreverrrrr to dry! Even in these pics it's still nt 100% dry but I got tired of waiting. Let's see how long it lasts this time, my last Bantu knot out was thuggin for 3 weeks!!

Today's Style

I've been wearing this style ever since I blow dried my hair for the Christmas party. I look like a little old lady an I love it. It's a two strand twist all the way around my head and the loose end pinned down.
