Lady Bug

New favorite red lippy! MAC Cherry lip pencil under MAC Lady Bug lipstick. I'm going gaga for this color combo! It was gifted to me by my bestie two weeks ago and I've been wanting to wear it everyday since, even tho there's been no occasion to haha. I wore it to grab sushi with a friend at Aloha Sushi in downtown Batimore on Charles St at Preston. I really liked Aloha, there wasn't all the fake trendiness and pretentiousness which I usually feel across the street at XS. My lip color lasted the entire night through all the sushi, sashimi and blotting with my napkin. Thumbs up!

Bubblicious

I've been searching forever to find the perfect bubblegum pink lip gloss or lipstick to no avail. Finally I just decided to make my own and I think it came out great! I layered two colors OCC Lip Tar in "Tone" under MAC lip glass "Pink Poodle"

Since I didn't wear any glitter or sequins for NYE I had to get some sparkle in SOMEWHERE!

I also wore my MAC Plum Bright out that night. I'm starting to like dark lips more and more. Maybe somewhere in the future I should try black. Hmmm...

Staying Power

Day 3 of my Bantu knot-out and it's still going strong. I WILL be doing this style again. The Michael Jackson curls in the front give me life!!!

Also the debut of my MAC Plum Bright lipstick. I haven't tried purple lips in the past. I've always thought it might look to goth, but I actually like it. I think it looks sophisticated but not in a hoity-toity way.
