This wet n wild lippy is easily becoming my favorite thing. Not to mention the awesome flawsome price of $1.99! Whaaaat? Hollaaaa!!! lol that was my reaction once I found out about these little gems from various beauty bloggers and instagram. This nude color is called Megalast "Just Peachy" and perfect for an everyday makeup look. I wore it twice this weekend since I bougt it on Friday and I think I'm gonna he'd to Walgreens right now and purchase the rest of the collection!

Some time after the name change from Mansion to Mirage it got really hood up in there O_O ...I dont know what happened but anyway, I was on the way out here to celebrate another friend's birthday. Despite the ratchetry, I danced all night and was hot as crap in my leather skirt...aduh. This isnt new to me though, I never leave the house without at least 2 layers, so sue me...

On the way to see "Think Like A Man" which was actually a good movie. It was nothing like I expected, which was a Tyler Perry-esque male bashing movie. It turned out to be nothing of the sort, it was actually funny and entertaining and I didnt feel embarrassed to watch it. Score 1 for Steve Harvey! I wore my bubblegum pink Doc Martens that Ive been lusting over for a while now, since the weather was dreary and I wanted to brighten things up a bit. Still rocking my bday curls from 3 weeks ago. I feel like this is the longest Ive gone without washing my hair in ages, but some curly-ques are still holding on! My scalp is screaming for a cleansing but Ive been too lazy. Hopefully Ill get it done before the weekend.

My, My, My, Midis
My friend and I unintentionally dressed alike for our thrifting trip to the Goodwill on Reisterstown Rd in Owings Mills, MD. I think tank tops and colorful bottoms are my spring/summer uniform for 2012. Also still very into loafers and oxfords. I call these my "honey mustards" haha... By the way my flexi rod set from last weekend is still truckin!!!

Since most of them are manual transmissions guess I gotta learn how to drive one. I hear its so much fun. So far its just been so confusing...Then off to dinner at Jack's Bistro in Canton. They had macaroni and cheese and chocolate all in one dish! Amazeballs!!

Weekend Warrior
This past weekend was my BFF's anniversary of her 21st bday. The ladies stepped out looking splendiferous as per usual for dinner at Dirty Martini in DC. I lost the battery to my Nikon so until I find it or get a new one I'll just have to settle for iPhone pics.
Idk why we all have werewolf eyes in this pic...
Curly girls were in the house!

Gordon Gartrell
My ode to Theo Huxtable, in this two tone silk shirt that I thrifted. Maybe the homemade Gordon Gartrell that Theo wore on that episode of the Cosby's had a different color scheme than my blouse. It was purple and gold if I recall correctly. Either way I think of Theo and Denise when I put it on. I was on my way to my cousin's 26 bday celebration at Select when I got into a fender bender at the 95S tunnel and never made it there. To all who read this blog, you will see me in this outfit again soon. Especially since I never made it to the club.
I promise, I wasn't giving you guys the "finger"

Raspberry Rain
My grad school roomate came all the way from Kansas to visit me! well not actually to visit me, but she came to VA so of course we had to meet up in DC and get to the T! (non-intentional rhyming) Hopefully Ill be seeing her again in May. Anwhooo, this is what I wore to meet her. It was raining crazy hard that day, so I ended up changing into rain boots which looked horrid with my outfit. Needless to say, Im not posting those pics. I also have a thing for oversized shirts at the moment, which you could probably already tell.

On the way to a friend's bday party at a nice little spot in Baltimore called EVilla. This print on this swetaer reminds me of something Native American. Once again, its ANGORA!!! Not sure why I like angora so much. Its just so soft a fuzzy hehe...
Got these leather shorts from a cute little vintage shop in Kansas City, They used to be pants that I never wore so I just cut them into shorts.

I am the spitting image of my mom today. I remember her wearing outfits like this with her stud earrings and her bushy eyebrows, just the way I look today.
I love this coat it reminds me of a cape, the shoulder pads also make me happy.

Lumberjack Stuntin
Currently going mad for plaid! I went thrifting yesterday and went hog wild on plaid shirts (among other things)...
Also wearing one of my favorite hats, I love the ball on top. I'm covering up my bantu knots, which are still wet from last night. Ugh... my hair takes forever to dry. Gonna sit under the dryer for maybe another hour, before the company Christmas party tonight hopefully to unveil a head full of curls :)
